Introducing Hans 't Hart
The driving force behind Triple Impact is Hans 't Hart (1962), an NIP psychologist. After having worked for various employers for almost ten years, he set up 't Hart Communicatie in 1999 to give in-company training courses and coaching on Personal Effectiveness Communication and Teamwork. Another important aspect of his work was relationship therapy for individuals and partners. His combination of business-oriented and therapeutic skills has meant that Hans' approach to therapeutic needs is many-facetted.
His style is characterised by humor, confrontation, and an in-depth approach. He is more focused on the practical side of your communication style than on the content.
In 2005, Hans and his wife, Rita (they have been married since 1995) emigrated to Canada. After only a few months it became clear that this choice was not living up to expectations. After many talks and much heart-searching, they decided to return to the Netherlands. Although this has turned out to be the right decision, it caused an emotional upheaval at the time. This period severely tested their relationship. After two years, a stable situation prevailed once more. Because Hans works on the principle of 'practise what you preach', this period was also particularly effective in clarifying various aspects of the methods and techniques used during counselling.
You can read about his process of dealing with bereavement in his weblog article:
If you lose a dream or go through a bad experience, follow these 4 steps
On restarting the company after the period of emigration, Hans chose a new name: Triple Impact. DISC and outdoor team training became available in addition to the previous activities.
Hans had already been working with the methods of Harville Hendrix (Imago Therapy) for many years, but in 2008 he also followed the official training course in the UK. The aim of this renowned training course is to help couples heal and repair their relationship. The latest insights into effective coaching of couples also turned out to be extremely useful for in-company training and coaching. In March 2010, Hans was officially certified as an Imago therapist.
After an interval of three years in which Hans worked on the content and design of the training course, Personal Effectiveness and Communication, he relaunched this course in a significantly improved form. Insights gained by giving Imago Therapy and by being in Canada have led to greater depth and effectiveness in his work.
His passion is to help people to achieve greater satisfaction and effectiveness, both in their private and working lives. An important aspect of this, he believes, is a feeling of aliveness and of bonding with others. Various techniques and methods start to have a significant impact when clients notice that their coach is living proof of the efficacy of these methods. Hans attaches enormous value to integrity and transparency.
The counselling and coaching pathways are normally given by Hans himself. However, he enlists the aid of colleagues for larger-scale training courses.
In 2011 Hans did the first Master Class given by Hedy and Yumi Schleifer. They belong to the top of world in the area of couples therapy. Only 30 therapists worldwide had been admitted to this Master Class.
Fluent in English
Due to extensive language training prior to his emigration to Canada, his couples training in London, the supervision sessions and the additional courses he attended, he is able to provide therapy at an intense and emotional level.
